Well, we have landed in Austin, and the boxes are unpacked! For the most part anyway. I am excited about my upcoming exhibition @ Jean-Marc Fray, which opens in a few weeks. The gallery is located inside the Whit Hanks building, 1009 W. 6th Street. So, for the past three weeks I have been running around, working like a lunatic, and loving every minute of it. The opening reception is June 3, not really sure of the time, so let's just say 6:00-8:00ish. Come! Bring whomever. It will be fun!
Now, my dear friends Jean-Marc, Jean-Noel, and Cynthia Fray have put together this video as a promotional piece for the show. It is beautifully made, AND they did it in less than 24 hours. I am telling you, these French people do not mess around....voila!
In other, completely unrelated news, I started boot camp Monday. Today, among several other exhausting things, we dug holes in the sand with our fingers, which we later had to do a million man pushups over and then refill. I made it out alive (barely), and left feeling thankful that I did not just dig my own grave.
